Former Senate Leader, Senator Teslim Folarin; Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu; former First Lady of Oyo State, Mrs Florence Ajimobi; and other prominent chieftains of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have vowed to deliver Oyo State for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
The APC leaders made the declaration on Monday in Oyo town during the flag-off of a tour of 14 federal constituencies in the state.
They said they had resolved to set aside internal disagreements and personal ambitions in order to work collectively for the re-election of President Tinubu.

The event was attended by the Oyo State Chairman of the APC, Alhaji Olayide Abass; Senators Yunus Akintunde and Sharafadeen Alli; Engineer Idris Adeoye; as well as Senators Femi Lanlehin and Ayo Adeseun, among other party stalwarts.
Addressing party members, Folarin said all leaders of the APC in the state had agreed to put unity above individual interests to ensure victory for the party in 2027.
According to him, the primary objective of the party is to significantly increase the number of votes President Tinubu will secure in Oyo State.
“Every leader with 2027 ambitions has set them aside. We must prioritise unity, rebuild internal trust, and deliver a landslide mandate for President Tinubu,” Folarin said.
He recalled that President Tinubu polled 449,884 votes in Oyo State during the 2023 presidential election, describing it as one of the strongest performances nationwide.
“Our mission now is to increase that figure by at least 35 per cent through intensified grassroots mobilisation across all 33 local government areas,” he added.
Also speaking, Mrs Ajimobi described the initiative as a unifying platform that demonstrates the strength and discipline within the APC.
She appealed to party leaders to close ranks, embrace peace and work together to sustain harmony within the party ahead of the 2027 polls.
