Former West Ham forward Lucas Paqueta has said that two EPL giants wanted him before he completed a switch to Flamengo. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he is very pleased with all of the love Flamengo fans have been showing him, and he needs the fans to know that he’ll always identify with them.
Paqueta added that he is a happy man at the moment, and he wants to enjoy the joy of finally being home.
His words, “Maybe Flamengo didn’t need me, but I needed Flamengo. I’m very happy to see all the affection, because I feel very identified. I’m one of you (fans) on the pitch, and I can promise you that won’t change.
My heart is red-black, and I will demonstrate that on the field. Huge happiness to be back. I dreamed a lot about this moment.
All I want is to enjoy this joy of finally being home. I want to be happy, give joy to the Nation and give my best – I continue.”
