The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the upload of election results for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) council polls on its results viewing portal, IReV.
As of 9:04 p.m., InfoStride News gathered that results from polling units across the six area councils in the FCT had started trickling in, a few hours after the commission conducted the elections.
INEC data shows that results for the Kwali Area Council chairmanship election were 56.72 per cent uploaded as of 9:04 p.m. on Saturday.
Similarly, the Gwagwalada Area Council chairmanship results had reached 65.68 per cent upload completion.
The commission is also uploading results for councillorship and chairmanship positions in the FCT, alongside results from the Kano and Rivers State bye-elections on the IReV portal.
