Casemiro’s Impact Has Been Terrific – Carrick

Manchester United interim manager Michael Carrick has addressed the growing clamour for Casemiro to remain at Old Trafford for another season. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, while he acknowledges the fans’ emotional demands amid Casemiro’s impressive form, he prefers to remain realistic and look forward.

Carrick added that working with the Brazilian midfielder has definitely been a terrific experience thus far.

His words, “I think in some ways it’s difficult to say, I think it’s when something’s decided and in some ways the fact that it was decided makes things a little bit easier and everyone understands the situation really.

I think the impact he’s had has been terrific, certainly since I’ve been here and working with him and his influence within the team and big moments and goals. It was a nice moment at the end there with the supporters and having that connection, and the respect. That was a nice moment. I think you’ll enjoy that one.

I think this is totally no disrespect to Case, he’s been fantastic, he has been a big player for us and has been important in the dressing room and one that I have spoken to and connected with really well.

But I think as a club and as a team, your players come and go, some may be bigger, some may be more important than others at different times.”

Manchester United Football Club, commonly referred to as Man United or simply United, is a professional football club based in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. The club competes in the Premier League, the top division in the English football league system.

That triumph allowed the club to compete in the European Super Cup for the first time, where United beat European Cup holders Red Star Belgrade 1–0 at Old Trafford. The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992 the left and the right, but he’s not got any sense of danger yet, and empties the midfield area too readily.
