Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior has refused to be drawn on comments about Enzo Fernandez’s future. Recall that the World Cup winner recently hinted that he could quit Chelsea at the end of the season following their chastening exit from the Champions League.
Pressed about Enzo’s comments, Rosenior stressed that he prefers to focus on more important things right about now.

Liam added that despite some Chelsea supporters exiting Stamford Bridge during the PSG clash, he had no concerns over the atmosphere inside the stadium.
His words, “Firstly, I haven’t seen that.
It’s hard for me to speak on speculation after a game and I need to focus right now on the most important things, which is making sure we get a result against Everton on Saturday.”
On the fans, “No, I think it’s two-way. This is a fantastic football club where the fans want success instantly and that’s rightfully so for the size of the club.
I understand because of the aggregate scoreline in the tie, why fans are frustrated. They want us to win. So, I completely get it and I understood that before I came in.
I also want to make them happy and give them the nights they deserve. Not just me, but us as a group, as a team. That was a really, really difficult one to take because of the manner in which we went out this evening.”
WOW.
Chelsea Football Club is an English professional football club based in Fulham, West London. Founded in 1905, they play their home games at Stamford Bridge.
The club competes in the Premier League, the top division of English football. They won their first major honour, the League championship, in 1955. The club won the FA Cup for the first time in 1970, their first European honour, the Cup Winners’ Cup, in 1971, and became the third English club to win the Club World Cup in 2022.
On 7 May 2022, Chelsea confirmed that terms have been agreed for a new ownership group, led by Todd Boehly, Clearlake Capital, Mark Walter and Hansjörg Wyss, to acquire the club. The group was later known as BlueCo.
The UK government approved the £4.25bn takeover, ending Abramovich’s 19-year ownership of the club. Bruce Buck, who served as chairman since 2003, was replaced by Boehly, while long-serving club director and de facto sporting director Marina Granovskaia left, as did Petr Čech from the role of technical and performance advisor.
