The disturbing clips triggered public condemnation, with many calling for the immediate arrest of those involved.

Police had earlier arrested the alleged organiser and four other suspects shortly after the incident.
Providing an update on Saturday, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, said seven more suspects had been apprehended, bringing the total number of those in custody to 15.
According to him, the arrests were made following a detailed review of video evidence and intelligence by operatives.
“Acting on this directive, operatives conducted a thorough analysis of available video evidence and intelligence. This led to the arrest of additional suspects… bringing the total number of suspects currently in police custody in connection with the incident to fifteen,” the statement said.
The command clarified that preliminary findings indicate the acts were carried out by criminal elements and are not reflective of any legitimate cultural practice.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Aina Adesola, condemned the incident, assuring the public that all perpetrators would be brought to justice.
He also urged victims and witnesses to come forward with useful information, assuring that all submissions would be treated with strict confidentiality.
