The Yobe State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammad Gadaka, has declared that the ruling party will remain in power for the next 100 years.
Gadaka made the assertion during the Yobe Leadership and Innovation Summit 2026 held in Damaturu, expressing confidence in the party’s long-term political dominance.
The event, organised by the Centre for Leadership and Good Governance–Yobe, brought together stakeholders to discuss governance and development in the state.

Speaking through the State Party Youth Leader, Muhammad Musa Gulani, Gadaka said the APC is committed to sustaining governance at the federal, state, and local levels for decades.
He noted that the party’s policies and programmes are designed to deliver meaningful development, which he said requires continuity and more time in office.
“The vision of our party is to improve the lives of Nigerians and make Nigeria a great country. This party will continue to form governments at the federal, state, and local levels for more than 100 years,” he said.
Gadaka added that the party is reviewing its progress and strengthening its strategic direction to align its messaging with measurable impact.
He urged Nigerians to remain confident in the APC-led administration, expressing optimism that the country’s economy would improve for the benefit of all citizens.
“The APC will continue to build a Nigeria that works for all—strong, united, and full of hope. We call on Nigerians to have confidence in the APC government; the economy of this country will eventually work for all citizens,” he added.
