Manchester United legend Patrice Evra has said that the club’s fans can forgive Marcus Rashford. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
Stressing that the England international must accept a bench role this season, Evra stated that Rashford will need to prove his loyalty to the club on the pitch.
Patrice added that if the supporters see total commitment from Marcus, they’ll back him fully like they used to.
His words, “I think United fans, they forgive. They forgive. But after, you know, there’s all the pressure on social media and stuff like that, I think [Matheus] Cunha is doing very well.
It’s up to Marcus to accept that maybe he’s not the first choice. I’m not the first choice, but I’m going to prove to you guys that when I’m going to be on that pitch, I will bleed and die for Man United.
So he just needs to be honest with himself. But the fans forgive. Some of them, yes, on social media, they’re going to make some noise, but the real United fans, they really want Marcus Rashford to succeed at United.”

That triumph allowed the club to compete in the European Super Cup for the first time, where United beat European Cup holders Red Star Belgrade 1–0 at Old Trafford. The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992 the left and the right, but he’s not got any sense of danger yet, and empties the midfield area too readily.
