The Allied Peoples Movement, APM, has dismissed the campaign council recently established for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party described the initiative as “dead on arrival,” insisting that the formation of the council would not address the challenges confronting Nigerians.
The APM said the Tinubu administration should be more concerned about the economic hardship and other difficulties facing citizens rather than focusing on political structures.
The party maintained that Nigerians would assess the administration based on its performance and the impact of its policies on their lives.
The APM also criticised the decision to begin preparations for the 2027 election amid what it described as worsening hardship across the country.
It urged Nigerians to carefully examine the records of the present administration and make informed decisions when the time comes to vote.
The reaction comes after the unveiling of a campaign council for Tinubu as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
