Election Day Is Best Opportunity for Change, Says Aisha Yesufu

Human rights activist Aisha Yesufu has described the 2027 general election as the best opportunity for Nigerians to demand political change.

Yesufu said there was no better day for a revolution than election day, urging Nigerians to use their voting power to determine the leaders who would govern the country.

She called on citizens to actively participate in the electoral process rather than remain passive about the challenges facing the nation.

According to her, Nigerians have the constitutional power to replace leaders through the ballot box and should take advantage of the opportunity during the 2027 elections.

Yesufu stressed the importance of voters making informed choices and holding political leaders accountable through their votes.

She also urged Nigerians to reject political apathy and participate fully in the electoral process.

Her comments come amid growing political activities and preparations by political parties ahead of the 2027 general elections.
