A former political ally of ex-Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has pledged to mobilise support for the All Progressives Congress, APC, across 11 local government areas of the state.
The politician, who recently realigned politically, made the commitment while declaring his readiness to work with APC stakeholders to strengthen the party’s structure ahead of the 2027 general election.
He said his political network remained active across the affected local government areas and would be deployed to support the APC during the next electoral cycle.
According to him, the decision followed consultations with supporters and political associates who share his interest in contributing to the party’s activities in the state.
He pledged to work with party leaders and grassroots members to mobilise voters and strengthen the APC’s presence at the local government level.
The development comes amid ongoing political realignments in Kaduna State ahead of the 2027 elections, with politicians and support groups moving between political platforms.
The former ally also urged APC members to remain united and focus on strengthening the party ahead of future electoral contests.
He assured party stakeholders that his supporters would participate actively in the APC’s mobilisation efforts across the 11 local government areas.
