Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has hailed his side’s tactical evolution following a commanding 5-1 victory over Bournemouth. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
Singling out Henderson’s immediate impact in midfield, Alonso revealed that the former Liverpool CM was practising free kicks while his teammates were representing their countries during the international break.

Xabi added that the combination of Jordan’s experience and Moises Caicedo’s energy provided a balance that Bournemouth could not live with.
His words, “Henderson has been using the international break to practice his free-kicks.
I would not say it was a crazy game.
There were different moments. We were in good control of the game.
After conceding there were 10 minutes when the game could have finished in a more close way.
The fourth goal was really important. It has been a good performance and a good win.
We have seen Moises Caicedo in alongside Hendo.
Normally when you have a balance and a strong midfield the team is in better shape.
A clean sheet will come. Today we were close. A win with a clean sheet will come.”
