Barcelona midfielder Rodri has urged his Barcelona teammates to tighten up at the back. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, despite maintaining their perfect start to the season with another convincing victory over Real Betis, Barcelona must improve defensively to maintain its winning streak.
Rodri added that he is very pleased to have scored when his team needed a goal the most.
His words, “The team is showing its attacking potential, but we’re conceding quite a bit. That’s where the improvement might come from.
Very happy and pleased with the victory. This is one of the most difficult grounds in the league.
They are in a good moment and have played a great game. I’m happy for my goal, which gave us peace of mind at the moment when we were at our worst.
The handball was quite unnatural. That’s why it was disallowed. Respect the referees’ decisions. I didn’t see the red card play.
I don’t usually talk about the pitches, but today it was difficult to play. It made our circulation difficult.
Don’t make any excuses. We were able to control the game better at some point, but it’s true that the pitch was not good.”
