Djibouti Telecom claim league title

Djibouti Telecom Football Club has been crowned the winners of the 2014/2015 premier division for the third time on the trot.
They were presented with the medal and trophy at a colourful ceremony held at the National Technical Centre on Tuesday (5 May 2015).
Djibouti Telecom wrapped up the title in grand sty with a 9-0 drubbing of AS Jeunes Jago in the final game of the season last Monday. They finished on 45 points, six-points richer than second-placed AS Port in the 10-club league.
At the ceremony, Djibouti Football Federation president, Souleiman Hassan waberi, said the league was more interesting than previous competitions and attracted the biggest attendance.
“Congratulations on winning of the league title for the third successive time” said Waberi as he presented the trophy to the skipper of Djibouti Telecom.
He commended the participating clubs in the league for their contribution to the football development in the small horn of African country and helping to make Djibouti football stronger.
