Reekado Banks who is one of the member of the Mavin Records’,had some of his own share of fans going wild when he was performing at his alma-mater, University of Lagos, yesterday, August 11.
Reekado was reportedly attacked after he had finished his performance at the institutions’ SWAG (Something We Akokites Got) concert. Organized by popular disc jockey, DJ Kentalky.
Having mesmerized his fans with a successful performance, Reekado got into a bit of trouble with the crowd believed to be students of the institution and other music lovers who demanded him to give out some cash.
It was gathered that the ‘Chop Am’ singer did throw some money into the hailing crowd that got attention of even bigger crowd. The situation became so pulsating that he almost lost his cherished gold chain thanks to his manager.
As his team managed to escape him from the scene, the windscreen of his car was smashed by an unknown member of the crowd.
As bad as the situation appears, the singer has doused its gravity by posting the picture on Instagram with the caption,
“CRAZY SHOW TONIGHT IN UNILAG… HAD SO MUCH FUN ON THAT STAGE, EVEN IF THEY BROKE MY WINDSCREEN, I BELIEVE ITS ALL LOVE. GOD BLESS YOU UNILAG. I FELT AT HOME”.
