A 24-hour curfew has been imposed on Mubi by the Adamawa State Government following the recent liberation of the town from the control of Boko Haram.
The decision to impose a round the clock curfew on the commercial border town was a temporary measure to restore sanity in the area, the Director of Public Affairs to Adamawa State governor, Mr P. P. Elisha, said Thursday.
Mr. Elisha enjoined residents of Mubi to bear with government and that as soon as normalcy is restored, the curfew will be reviewed.
