Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, has expressed confidence that the reforms spearheaded by President Bola Tinubu will usher in economic prosperity and stability for Nigeria.
In a statement released on Sunday by Kamarudeen Ogundele, the SA Communication & Publicity to AGF and Minister of Justice, Fagbemi urged Nigerians to exercise patience and lend their support to the comprehensive reforms being implemented.
Fagbemi conveyed these sentiments during a prayer organized in his honor by his family in his Ijagbo country-home in Oyun Local Government of Kwara State on Friday.

Assuring Nigerians of Tinubu’s commitment to steering the nation towards a positive trajectory, Fagbemi emphasized that the President’s focus is on securing a better future for the country rather than personal gains.
“The President is not looking for self-aggrandizement. He’s seeking a better future for the country.
Immediately after his swearing-in, he has been all out to seek investors’ buy-in. As a result, positive responses have been trailing his discussions with foreign investors.
The only thing we need is to exercise some patience. Even if you plant a tree, it won’t grow into fruition until after a while,” Fagbemi stated.
He called on Nigerians to be patient, expressing confidence that the sacrifices made today will translate into a more robust future for the country.
Fagbemi concluded, “I know with prayers and support of Nigerians, the country will emerge stronger.”
