Barcelona manager, Ronald Koeman has come out to share what he expects from new signings, Memphis Depay and Sergio Aguero. He recently revealed that Aguero is an important signing for the club because he is experienced and dangerous.
According to him, he is only focused on ensuring the Argentine is physically fit ahead of the new season because that is key for his form.
Koeman added that Depay also improved massively at Lyon and he believes he’ll do well at his new club.
On Aguero, “He is an important signing as we have to improve in front of goal. ‘Kun’ is an experienced player and very dangerous in the box.”
“He has to be right physically and we want him to be at his best for us.”
On Depay, “It’s important that I know him well; he knows how I work and he is a player with a lot of character – he is strong, quick, he brings us a lot,”
“He can play anywhere up front and he is coming into the prime of his career. He improved a lot at Lyon and he gained experience as a captain.”
