Alonso Must Realize Estevao’s Incredible Talent – Redknapp

Jamie Redknapp has urged Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso to find a starting role for Estevao. This comes following a dismal defeat at Brentford, and fans have been reacting.

Insisting that the solution to Chelsea’s recent struggles could currently be sitting on the bench, the pundit publicly questioned Alonso‘s reluctance to utilise Brazilian talent Estevao in his starting line-ups.

Redknapp added that despite having lots of gifted attackers at his disposal, Xabi must find a way to maximize the Brazilian wonderkid’s talents.

His words, “I look at Estevao, is he too good a player not to play in this team?

He is in an incredible talent but how do you get him in the team when you have got Morgan Rogers, Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro?

These are the problems he has to solve.”

Bruce Buck, who served as chairman since 2003, was replaced by Boehly, while long-serving club director and de facto sporting director Marina Granovskaia left, as did Petr Čech from the role of technical and performance advisor.
