Ex-Real Madrid forward, Predrag Mijatovic has come out to say that he is not sure Carlo Ancelotti has what it takes to turn things around. He recently had his say as the club’s woes continue to worsen this season, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the team has clearly gotten out of hand for Ancelotti, and it is now obvious that he no longer knows what do with his players or how to react to their poor form.
Predrag added that Carlo is currently listening to so many opinions, and he does not have a position of his own.
His words, “The feeling I have is that the team has gotten out of hand for Ancelotti. With the changes he has made, he didn’t know where to take the team or how to react. In addition to the two to three splendid years they have had, the time has come that the team has relaxed a little. Solutions? Very few. I don’t know if he has the capacity to react and restart the situation to motivate the players.
There are players who are unhappy, who play less than they thought. Then, the press asks for more minutes for [Arda] Guler and Endrick. [Jude] Bellingham started very well and now he is not as fine [Kylian] Mbappe and Vinicius [Jr.] want to play on the same wing… I am worried about the situation. Ancelotti cannot tell his players ‘you have to do what I say’. He is listening to too many opinions and does not have a position as he did in other years.”
WOW.
Real Madrid Club de Fútbol, commonly referred to as Real Madrid, is a Spanish professional football club based in Madrid. The club competes in La Liga, the top tier of Spanish football.
Real Madrid has maintained the white shirt for its home kit throughout the history of the club. There was, however, one season that the shirt and shorts were not both white. It was an initiative undertaken by Juan Padrós in honor of an English team Corinthian F.C., which he had met on one of his trips, one of the most famous teams at the time known for its elegance and sportsmanship.
It was under Florentino Pérez’s first presidency (2000–2006) that Real Madrid started its ambition of becoming the world’s richest professional football club. The club ceded part of its training grounds to the city of Madrid in 2001, and sold the rest to four corporations: Repsol YPF, Mutua Automovilística de Madrid, Sacyr Vallehermoso and OHL.
Hala Madrid is a magazine published quarterly for the Real Madrid club members and the Madridistas Fan Club card holders. The phrase Hala Madrid, meaning “Forward Madrid” or “Go Madrid”, is also the title of the club’s official anthem, which is often sung by the Madridistas (the club’s fans).
