British boxer Tyson Fury is now using Nigeria to taunt Anthony Joshua in their ongoing verbal war.
Fury and Joshua have been going at each other since April when the Nigerian boxer defeated Wladimir Klitschko to become the world heavyweight champion.
Fury had first defeated Klitschko as world heavyweight champion in November 2015 before he lost his titles and boxing licence due to drug issues and mental health problems.
In the latest dig by the boxers, Joshua revealed that Fury’s win over Klitschko was boring and the British boxer has hit back.
In an Instagram video, Fury was boastful about how he beat Klitschko rather unlike Joshua who got off the canvas to defeat the same opponent.
“I see AJ is talking smack again, say my fight with Vladimir was boring. Better to win and be boring than getting dropped all over the floor,” Fury wrote.
“I never got punched you got carried off the canvas nearly.”
Fury is hopeful of fighting Joshua in November or December if he gets his boxing licence back and has also promised to fly the Nigerian (Joshua is of Nigerian descent) flag during the fight.
“Boring hay! We see who is boring when U face me! A big bully is what you are u big dosser. Big Femi your bully street name,” Fury added in an Instagram post.
“I’ve seen your type many times. The man who can’t speak his own mind, the plastic Nigerian I’m more Nigerian than you! I’ll fly the flag for Nigeria when we fight. GYPSY MAN. Represents the world . Ali had words for a man like you, they were Uncle Tom.”
