The All Progressives Congress (APC) commenced the sale of Nomination and Expression of Interest forms in Abuja on Wednesday, targeting party members vying for the upcoming Edo governorship election.
As announced by the party, the cost of the forms stands at N10 million for the Expression of Interest Form and N40 million for the Nomination Form.
However, the party has exempted aspirants living with disabilities and female aspirants from paying for the Nomination Form, making it free for them.

They are only required to pay for the Expression of Interest Form.
Furthermore, the APC has introduced a 50% discount on both forms for youths between 25 and 40 years of age, aiming to encourage youth participation in the political process.
The off-cycle governorship election in Edo is scheduled to take place on November 16, coinciding with Ondo State’s election on the same day.
The first aspirant from Edo to purchase the forms at the party’s national secretariat was Clem Agba, a former Minister of State for Budget and National Planning.
Henry Idahagbon, a former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Edo, obtained the forms on Agba’s behalf.
According to the timetable released by the APC for the Edo governorship election, the sale of forms will conclude on January 29.
The party’s primary election to select its flag bearer for the governorship race is scheduled for February 17.
