The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged the public to disregard a purported APC membership slip circulating on social media and allegedly linked to notorious bandit leader, Bello Turji.
In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party described the document as a fabrication with no connection to its membership register or database.

Morka said the fake slip falsely suggested that Mohammed Bello Turji was registered as a member of the APC during the ongoing Electronic Registration and Validation Exercise.
According to him, all the digital details displayed on the slip do not correspond with the party’s official membership records.
He explained that the document claimed the registration took place in a nonexistent “Ward 13” of Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, noting that the local government has only 10 wards.
Morka added that other information contained in the slip were equally fictitious and not reflected in the APC membership database.
The APC spokesman described the development as the handiwork of mischief makers seeking to mislead and confuse the public for sinister purposes.
He therefore called on party members and the general public to completely disregard the offensive document.
