The All Progressives Congress, APC, has disowned reports claiming to announce the outcome of its primary elections, describing the publications as false and unauthorised.
The party made its position known in a public notice issued on Sunday, stating that it had not released any official list of successful aspirants from the primaries.
The disclaimer, signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, was shared on the party’s official X handle.

“The public is therefore advised to disregard any publication or report purporting to announce the outcome of the primaries, as such information is false and unauthorised,” the statement read.
The APC explained that successful aspirants would be officially notified through the party’s recognised communication channels before being presented with their Certificates of Return.
The ruling party urged its members, stakeholders and the general public to rely solely on official APC communication channels for authentic information regarding the outcome of its primary elections.
