The leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC UK Chapter, has spoken out against a group’s plan to demonstrate against President Bola Tinubu in London, stating that such an action continues to be a foolish endeavor.
The group’s target is Tinubu.
In a statement that was released on Friday in Lagos, Mr. Tunde Doherty, who is the Chairman of the UK branch of the ruling party, provided this information.

Doherty, who is also the APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen, stated that he was forced to respond to the recent claims and assertions made by a group led by Aisha Yesufu, an activist and supporter of the Labour Party. Doherty is also a member of the APC Committee of Diaspora Chairmen.
He added that the organization had intentions of holding the demonstration in London in order to publicize their assertions regarding the educational credentials of the president.
“It has come to our attention that this organization is planning to stage a demonstration in London in order to spread baseless assertions regarding the educational credentials of President Bola Tinubu.
“We are firmly of the belief that it is our job to address this subject and highlight the significance of depending on established facts as opposed to making claims that are premature and not backed up by evidence.
“President Bola Tinubu, a seasoned and respected statesman, has a lengthy and illustrious track record of serving our great nation. His service to our country has been long and glorious.
Throughout the course of his career, he has consistently shown a commitment to working toward the improvement of Nigeria and the people who live there.
“The allegations of forged certificates not only lack concrete evidence, but they also undermine the spirit of democracy and fair political discourse that we hold dear,” Doherty added. “We hold democracy and fair political discourse in very high regard.”
