The national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has intervened in the purported suspension of the party’s chairman in Benue State, Mr. Augustine Agada, by party executives in his Ehaje Ward 1, Owukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of the state.
The suspension of Agada, which was based on allegations of anti-party activities during the last general election, has been set aside pending further review and decision by the Party’s National Working Committee (NWC) on the matter.
Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, issued a statement confirming the intervention.

He stated, “Therefore, Mr. Augustine Agada remains a bonafide member and the Chairman of the Benue State chapter of our party.”
This development comes after the party’s executives in Ehaje Ward 1 had suspended Agada, prompting the national leadership to step in and order a review of the situation.
The decision to set aside the suspension highlights the party’s commitment to due process and fair treatment of its members, as well as its willingness to address internal disputes through established party structures and procedures.
