The All Progressives Congress (APC) North-Central Forum has commended the party’s national leadership for including its members in the recently constituted National Campaign Council for the Ondo State governorship election.
Chairman of the APC North-Central Forum, Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga, expressed gratitude in a statement issued Saturday in Abuja, appreciating APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje for embracing inclusivity in the campaign council’s composition.
Ganduje inaugurated the 305-member National Campaign Council on October 28, 2024, with Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as chairman.

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun heads the Finance Committee, assisted by Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio.
The Media and Publicity Committee is chaired by Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, with Minister of Information Idris Mohammed as his deputy.
The Security Committee is led by Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, with Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya as deputy.
Other notable members of the council include former Deputy Senate President Senator Ovie Omo-Agege as Secretary, alongside Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris, and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) George Akume.
Reflecting on the development, Zazzaga emphasized the APC’s commitment to unity and inclusion.
“We laud the national leadership under Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje for involving the North-Central Forum and various sections of the party in this significant mission.
This commitment to inclusivity strengthens the party and positions us for victory, not only in Ondo State but in future elections,” Zazzaga said.
He further noted that a united APC will support Nigeria’s development agenda, as envisioned in President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The APC North-Central Forum pledged to continue contributing to the party’s success, urging Ganduje to maintain his inclusive approach.
Zazzaga also reaffirmed the forum’s support for Ganduje’s leadership and its commitment to the party’s progress.
Additionally, the APC North-Central Forum called on Ondo State residents to vote en masse for APC candidate Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the November 16, 2024 election.
Aiyedatiwa, who assumed office following the death of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, faces competition from candidates of other parties, including his primary opponent, Mr. Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has proven his dedication to Ondo’s welfare, approving a N73,000 minimum wage for workers and implementing people-oriented policies.
We encourage the people of Ondo to support Aiyedatiwa to ensure continued progress and development in the state,” Zazzaga added.
The APC North-Central Forum chairman also urged Nigerians to exercise patience with President Tinubu, noting that his economic policies are designed to address long-standing challenges.
He expressed confidence in the positive outcomes of these reforms.
“President Tinubu is tackling deeply rooted issues. With patience and support, his policies will bring about positive change.
He listens, understands the nation’s challenges, and is working tirelessly to fulfill his Renewed Hope Agenda,” Zazzaga concluded.
