The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the suspension of four of its officials in Borno State over allegations of selling government palliative meant for vulnerable persons.
Mr. Mustapha Loskuri, the state APC Secretary, made this known in a statement released on Tuesday in Maiduguri.
According to Loskuri, the suspended officials include Ali Kaka, a state executive; Adam Ajiya, the ward chairman of old Maiduguri; Mala Mohammed, the ward secretary of old Maiduguri; and Usman Bukar, a ward executive of old Maiduguri.

The decision to suspend them was reportedly made at a meeting of the State Working Committee.
“This decision was taken in accordance with the provisions of Article 21 of the party’s Constitution.
“The suspended officials will remain so pending the outcome of the investigation by the party’s disciplinary committee,” Lokuri stated.
