The executive members of Galadima Ward Gusau of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who recently suspended the state chairman, Alhaji Umar Tukur Danfulani, have unanimously reversed their decision.
The ward executives signed and submitted a letter of withdrawal of the suspension to the state headquarters of the party.
Submitting the notice of withdrawal, Tijjani Abubakar Dan Ayya, the Gusau Local Government chairman of the party, explained that the executives were misled into signing the suspension letter.

According to the publicity secretary, the initial suspension was orchestrated during a meeting with a senatorial aspirant who used the opportunity to advance his political ambitions.
“A paper of attendance went around for signatures, which was later used to achieve his political ambition through unpatriotic party members,” he said.
During the handover of the withdrawal letter, APC Chairman of Gusau Local Government Area, Tijjani Abubakar Dan Ayya, stated that the letter reaffirmed the loyalty of the ward executives to Danfulani and the State APC leadership.
Responding on behalf of the state chairman, APC State Secretary Ibrahim Umar Birnin Magaji commended the executives for their timely reversal of the controversial and illegal suspension.
“Therefore urge all peace-loving members of the APC to remain calm and committed to recapturing Zamfara State by 2027,” he added.
Birinin Magaji also warned that the party would not tolerate unconstitutional actions and vowed that those behind the suspension would be held accountable, as the incident had caused an uproar within the state and the party.
