The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has charged young Nigerians with replacing the country’s current leaders and easing the burdens placed on the populace.
On Saturday, in honour of International Youth Day, the National Youth Leader of the party, Eze Onyebuchi Chukwu, released a statement to the press in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State.
He challenged the young people to save the country from imminent peril by voting in the upcoming general election and promised to back any young person running for office.
The youth of Nigeria have always been a driving force for positive development. He encouraged them to work on developing their potential and learning to be self-sufficient so that they might make “positive contributions to the development of Nigeria.”
He went on to say that the party is turning over APGA’s leadership to young people because they are Nigeria’s best hope for the future and because of the importance the party places on youth participation in nation-building.
The youth of Nigeria have great potential, therefore we encourage them to take a chance at leadership, he said.
