Nigerian defender, Ayo Obileye has come out to say that Joe Aribo played an important role in ensuring he moved to Scotland where he now turns out for Premiership side Livingston. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, Aribo spoke highly about the Scottish league, and he currently sees the platform in Scotland as an opportunity for players who cannot play in the English Premier League.
Ayo added that he and his Aribo were teammates in Charlton, and that convinced him to find joy in playing in Scotland too.
His words, “I knew a bit before I came over because I’m mates with Joe Aribo he’s one of my good friends, we played together at Charlton. He spoke well of the league and that convinced me to come into Scotland.”
“It is a good opportunity for players who obviously do not want to play in England so they just go to Scotland because the level is also quite good too.”
