Online security project nets win for second year in a row
Basingstoke, UK: 28 October 2014 – ArmstrongAdams, an Accumuli company, has won the Imperva Project of the Year award for the second year running. The award was given for ArmstrongAdams’ work with a large financial institution in which the Imperva web application firewall (WAF) solution, SecureSphere, is being deployed to protect part of the group’s online presence – considered one of the largest in Europe.
Imperva Vice President of Worldwide Channel and Service Provider Sales, Ted Plumis, said: “The fact that ArmstrongAdams has won this award for the second year in a row is testament to the company’s considerable expertise within the industry and commitment to Imperva and our technology.”
ArmstrongAdams helped to design and test the WAF solution based on the financial services group’s strict requirements for security and performance. SecureSphere ensures that the protected environment is safe from online attacks and includes features such as fraud prevention, DDoS protection as well as data loss prevention.
Tim Kipps, Sales Director, ArmstrongAdams, said: “Given the nature and size of the project it was important that our client had confidence in the Imperva solution. To ensure it met all their business-critical requirements, we worked closely with our customer to help them test, validate and successfully deploy the technology for their unique environment.”
ArmstrongAdams has been working with Imperva for almost a decade and holds the highest level of accreditation.
The award ceremony recently took place in Barcelona, Spain.
