Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has come out to say that Arsenal had a phenomenal transfer window despite being unable to land a midfielder on deadline day. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, the club had done an amazing job with the players that were bought this summer, but he had to react to the latest injuries to Elneny and Partey by exploring the market late in the window.
Arteta added that despite the late and futile attempts, he is very happy with the club’s business in the transfer market.
His words, “We had a lot of things still to do in the squad,”
“The club has done a phenomenal job to bring in players that we wanted.”
“Unfortunately in the last 72 hours Thomas [Partey] and Mo [Elneny] got injured and we had to react in the market. We tried and at the end of the day we have to bring in the players we feel are right but we didn’t manage to do it.”
