Ex-England striker, Gabby Agbonlahor has come out to hail Aston Villa despite their 3-1 defeat to PSG in the UCL. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the Aston Villa players have to be proud of themselves for giving everything vs the best team in the world, and since they managed to keep the result at 3-1, they still have a chance to qualify.
Gabby added that the fact is most teams will go to PSG‘s stadium and concede six to seven goals.
His words, “From an Aston Villa point of view, the players must be proud of themselves. You’re playing against the best team in the world… Teams will go to that stadium and get beat 6-7. For Aston Villa to keep it down to 3-1, you’re in the tie.”
