…Remo North Skills Acquisition Graduates Receive Cheque
Twenty beneficiaries from Remo North Local Government who graduated from the Vocational Skills Acquisition Training Program organised by Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) received financial support from Hon (Dr) Ladi Adebutu, Chairman, House Committee on Rural Development.
The cheques were given to them by the Senior Legislative Aide, Hon Seye Sonuga, on May, 30, 2017, in Isara Remo. The money provided would assist them in setting up their own businesses and be self reliant.
In his remark, Hon Sonuga enjoined the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the fund. He posited that economic empowerment was the first step to financial freedom and personal confidence. He added that Hon Ladi Adebutu was committed to anything that would make life abundant for the people.
It will be recalled that a similar program was held recently in Sagamu Remo. The train will move to Ikenne Local Government.
Hon Ladi holds strongly to the welfare of the people at all times.
