Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the last general election, has filed a new case in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois against PDP national leader and Illinois circuit court judge Bola Tinubu.
Remember that the Illinois county court had ruled against Atiku’s request for Tinubu’s Chicago State University transcript.
Atiku had taken Chicago State University (respondent) to court, asking for an injunction requiring the university to hand over any and all Tinubu-related academic records it possessed.

However, Atiku’s Special Assistant on Public Communications Phrank Shaibu claims that the dismissal occurred after his boss dropped the lawsuit.
According to Arise News On Sunday, in response to questions concerning the rejected suit by the Circuit Court of Cook County, Shaibu made the above statement.
According to Shaibu, Waziri Atiku Abubakar dropped the action in Cook County, Illinois because he was taking the same issue to a higher court and didn’t want to waste resources. So, we’re just getting started.
He went on to say that Tinubu and his followers were acting if they had won a Supreme Court case by celebrating the news so enthusiastically.
