Atiku-Wike feud: PDP should reach out to Amaechi – Omokri

A socio-political activist, Reno Omokri has urged the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to extend a hand of fellowship to former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.

Omokri said Atiku should extend a hand of fellowship to Amaechi if Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and his G-5 group endorse another presidential candidate.

He, however, urged the PDP to do everything possible to keep Wike within the political party.

It’s widely believed that the G-5 governors are considering the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Bola Tinubu, and the Labour Party, LP flagbearer, Peter Obi.

However, Omokri said PDP should extend a hand of fellowship to Amaechi because the party created him.

In a tweet, Omokri wrote: “My dear Peoples Democratic Party, let us do all we can to keep Wike in the PDP. But if, despite our best efforts, he endorses outside the party, let us extend a right hand of fellowship to Rotimi Amaechi. PDP created Amaechi. And we know he can’t coexist with Wike.”
