Atletico Madrid forward, Antoine Griezmann has come out to admit that his side struggled to contain Mason Greenwood during Tuesday’s 3-3 draw va Getafe. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, it is a shame that the team ended up drawing the game because every player put in maximum effort to seal the victory.
Griezmann added that it was also sad to see Savic receive a red card at such a crucial stage in the match.
His words, “It’s a shame because we had made a great effort with ten. It’s a shame that Savic makes two fouls and gets two yellow cards. In the end you hold on… Greenwood hurt us a lot, we couldn’t stop him at the end of the game and two goals came.”
