A chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo has vowed that attacks on his property by some political thugs will not dissuade him from expressing the truth.
Oguntoyinbo, the NNPP’s candidate for governor of Ogun State in 2023, made the claim on Thursday.
Some criminals broke into the Bullion Hotel in the Simawa Area of Ogun State early on Tuesday morning, according to information obtained by InfoStride News.

Items worth millions of naira were reportedly stolen from the hotel by the accused political thugs.
In his response, Oguntoyinbo, who is also the hotel’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), claimed that the attacks on his property would not stop him from expressing the truth to those in authority.
On Thursday, Oguntoyinbo released a statement to the media demanding an investigation into the repeated attacks on his hotel and himself.
He claimed that on September 5, 2023, a bunch of thugs, some of them were dressed as military, attacked the hotel in a manner strikingly similar to the current one.
He insisted that surveillance footage proves that men dressed as police officers molested hotel guests and stole from security guards.
According to the NNPP leader, the criminals claimed to be from the neighborhood of Shimawa, Ogun State, and that they were sent by the Chairman of Motorcycle (Okada) Riders, Alowonle of Shimawa.
I will continue to advocate for the advancement and well-being of the underprivileged and the vulnerable youth in Nigeria in my role as the voice of the youth in Nigeria.
There should be consequences for the police officers who slapped the security guards while they were watching TV. These young men regularly congregate inside Shimawa’s secondary school, where they plot criminal acts and terrorize the local populace.
Attorney Isaac Izunya has requested that the state’s police commissioner look into the allegations against the NNPP leader.
To protect the credibility of the Police, I’m requesting that the Ogun State Commissioner of Police and the Police Service Commission look into the involvement of persons dressed as police officers in the attack.
We learned that some persons dressed as police officers not only helped the thug, but also slapped and pulled up two security guards who were watching TV.
