Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has come out to speak about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after the victory vs West Ham. He recently refused to say whether the Gabonese striker will be eligible for Arsenal’s next match.
According to him, he cannot confirm or deny if Aubameyang will feature anytime soon, and that will be a matter for the future.
Arteta added that he loved how focused his players were in the last game and he hopes their performance levels will not drop.
His words, “He wasn’t eligible for this game and that’s it. This game is gone. We will discuss it in the near future.”
On the win vs West Ham, “They were fully focused. They wanted to show how strong we are as a team. The performance, the attitude and the commitment they showed today is exactly what we are as a club.”
“I expect it from every player – to stick to our values. We will talk about [Aubameyang] another day. Today I want to talk about the game.”
