The Association of Sabbatarian Youths of Nigeria (ASYN) has blasted the use of their day of worship –Saturdays for elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). According to reports, the group revealed this in a petition they handed over to President Buhari. Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris, on Saturday said the police had completed training of 6, 000 newly recruited constables in its schools across Nigeria. In his statement during the passing out parades at the police training schools in Maiduguri, Enugu and Minna, Idris noted that the constables had completed their seven month basic police training.
