The “Shape of You” singer talked to Entertainment Tonight about how his duet with Beyoncé, “Perfect,” happened. “I have an email address that I email that actually changes every week,” he said of how he communicates with the superstar singer. There’s something about Simi that you can’t put a handle on. Is it her child-like simplicity? That juvenile innocence that defines her existence as a human being and seeps into her art. Is it her brilliance at all things music? That mobile mind which generates poetic words, finds the right melody to accompany it, and pushes it into the world as her contribution to our lives? I just watched Simi perform at her debut headline concert, “See Me Live,” which held at the Hardrock Café, Lagos. I watched her dance on stage. Heard her make light banter. Felt her thank…

Jose Mourinho aimed a funny dig at Arsenal after Alexandre Lacazette recovered to start against Manchester United on Saturday. Arsene Wenger ruled Lacazette out of the game against United after the summer signing injured his groin in Wednesday’s 5-0 victory over Huddersfield. But Lacazette was a surprise inclusion when Wenger’s side was named in the build-up to kick-off. He went on to score despite failing to prevent Arsenal falling to 3-1 defeat, while Nemanja Matic featured for the visitors after overcoming a muscular injury. “I don’t want to forget my congratulations to both medical departments,” said Mourinho after the game.…

We are more balanced now, more of a unit, whether that’s in attack…

Sometimes it’s hard…

Manchester United are set to reduce their losses on Luke Shaw with the left-back failing to force his way into Jose Mourinho’s first-team plans, reports have said. Shaw has endured a weak relationship with Mourinho since the Portuguese boss arrived at Old Trafford in 2016, and it’s thought a fresh challenge could suit all parties. Newcastle have asked about the 22-year-old and may be encouraged by speculation that United will accept offers of £20 million — £11.5 million less than they paid Southampton for Shaw’s signature in 2014. The England international is keen to remain in the Premier League and…
