Sokoto State Government says it plans to commence the sale of one million litres of petrol to motorists weekly to stabilise the fuel supply situation in the state. The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has pleaded with the Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike to reverse the revocation order placed on its land by the state government. A Federal High Court sitting in Ado Ekiti has sacked the Ahmed Makarfi-led faction of Ekiti state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) State Working Committee. The court sacked the faction led by Barr. Gboyega Oguntuase, which currently enjoys the backing and support of Governor Ayodele Fayose.
