The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said it will deploy 18,511 personnel to Edo for the State’s September 10 governorship election. The Commission said the number will comprise one Returning Officer, 18 Local Government Area Collation Officers, 192 Registration Area Collation Officers and 263 Supervisory Presiding Officers. The Lagos State Government on Sunday issued a 14-day ultimatum to owners of illegal structures, shanties and street hawkers in Ikoyi, Victoria Island and Lekki areas.
