Electricity generation in the country has risen to 4,133 megawatts (MW) for the first time in six months. This was discovered from statistics provided by the Nigeria System Operator (NSO), an arm of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), to Daily Trust. The data showed that 4,133 MW was the peak generation on Wednesday, August 18, 2016, while the lowest generation was 3,282 MW.
