No fewer than six children under the ages of five died in an outbreak of measles and whopping cough in Sule-tankarkar Local Government Area of Jigawa. The Katsina State Government says it is taking stiffer measures, including the declaration of a “state emergency”, toward halting the consumption and trafficking on illicit drugs.
