The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) says it has sealed eight independent petroleum stations in Sokoto and Kebbi for allegedly selling petrol above the government approved pump price. The Sokoto Zonal Operations Controller, Mr Mohammed Makera, made the disclosure when he addressed newsmen in Sokoto on Tuesday. Makera, who gave an update on the fuel supply situation in the zone, said that five of the sealed stations were in Sokoto State, while three were in Kebbi.
