At least 15 suspects have been arrested in connection with banditry and cattle rustling by the Police in Katsina State. The suspects were arrested across Danmusa and Batsari Local Government Areas of the state where a total of 228 cows along with 267 rustled sheep were recovered in their possession. Tragedy struck in Makurdi, Benue state as a middle aged man set himself and girlfriend ablaze. A 64-year-old man, William Ogbu, has been murdered by his own son at Aji Community in Igbo Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State. The late William Ogbu had five grown-up children including two sons and three daughters. Ogbu was killed with an axe by his son, Johnson Ogbu about three days ago and buried in a shallow grave near a plantain farm near his Umuidenyi residence.
