President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Suleiman Hassan as the new Environment Minister following Ibrahim Jibrin’s resignation as the Minister of State for Environment. Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state has called for the enactment of a legal framework to ensure the expeditious prosecution of purveyors of fake news and hate speech. Doyin Okupe is in troubled waters with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for receiving the sum of N120 million from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).
