In a bid to end Lekki trade zone dispute, the Lagos state government has inaugurated five different resettlement committees to look into the matter. According to Punch, the government’s move is aimed at finding a lasting solution to the dispute and resettling residents who have been displaced as a result of the project. The Governor of Borno State, Kashim Shettima, says all Internally Displaced Person (IDP) camps in the state would be closed down by May 29, 2017.
